This policy explains what personal information LAB2 collects through lab2.online, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. We kept it in plain language on purpose.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form. Your name, email, company, the services you selected, and whatever you write in the message.
- Workshop registration and payment. Your name, email, phone number, and billing details needed to issue an invoice.
- Feedback and preparation forms. Answers you choose to send us after or before a workshop.
- Email. Anything you send us directly.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server and log data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, timestamps.
- Analytics and advertising data through cookies and similar technologies. See section 4.
Content you put into our tools
- Website audit tool. When you submit a URL, we fetch that page, capture a screenshot, extract technical details such as fonts and colors, and send them to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the review. Do not submit pages that contain confidential information.
- Workshop preparation tool. The answers you type stay in your own browser's local storage. They are not sent to us, and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
2. Why we use it
- To answer you and to provide the services or workshop you asked for.
- To issue invoices and meet our accounting and tax obligations.
- To run and improve the site and its tools, and to understand which pages actually get used.
- To measure our advertising and, where relevant, show ads to people likely to care about our work.
- To send you emails about a workshop you registered for. Marketing emails only if you asked for them.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (services and workshops), legal obligation (invoicing and tax), consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies), and legitimate interest (keeping the site secure and useful).
3. Marketing emails
We only send marketing email to people who asked for it. Every such email identifies us as the sender and carries a one-click way to unsubscribe, and we act on it. You can also write to info@lab2.online and ask to be removed. Emails you get because you registered for a workshop (details, links, receipts) are service messages, not marketing, and you will keep receiving those until the workshop is over.
4. Cookies and tracking
The site uses:
- Essential storage. Needed for the site and its tools to work, including the local storage used by the workshop preparation tool.
- Google Analytics 4. Aggregate statistics about how the site is used.
- Meta Pixel. Measures our Facebook and Instagram campaigns and lets us show ads to people who visited the site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google opt-out add-on, and control ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings. Blocking cookies does not break the site.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We use a small number of service providers, and they only get what they need to do their job:
- Netlify - hosting and form submissions.
- Google - analytics.
- Meta - advertising measurement, and WhatsApp for workshop groups.
- Resend - sending transactional email.
- Green Invoice (Morning) - payments and invoices. Card details go to them and their payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
- Anthropic - processes the content submitted to the website audit tool.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
6. Where your information goes
Our providers are located outside Israel, mostly in the United States and the European Union, so your information is transferred and stored abroad. We rely on those providers' standard contractual protections for such transfers.
7. How long we keep it
- Contact form messages and email: as long as the conversation is relevant, and up to three years after.
- Invoices and payment records: as long as Israeli tax law requires, currently seven years.
- Workshop registration data: up to three years after the workshop.
- Analytics data: event level data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account, which Google caps at 14 months. Aggregated reports, which cannot identify anyone, are kept longer.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to object to certain processing, to ask for a portable copy, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Write to info@lab2.online and we will answer within 30 days. We may need to verify who you are first.
9. Security
The site runs over HTTPS and we limit access to the tools that hold your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection.
10. Children
The site and our services are meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on this page.
